Our Krypton Knowledge Crystal is now available in a special light up version! This is a replica prop of the knowledge crystals that Jor-El placed into the escape pod with his son Kal-El, better know on Earth as Superman. Inspired by the 1979 film Superman The Movie, this replica is a solid 3D SLA print using clear resins. In the core of the crystal is a green LED filament the runs almost the length of the crystal and produces no heat.
The LED is powered by a standard USB plug, with a quick connect wire that measures 36" long. The crystal itself measures around 8" long and 1" wide, and the finished product is sealed in a high gloss finish and polished to a high sheen for clarity.
A unique conversation starter, this replica will hold a special place in your own Fortress of Solitude! (Apologies though as the crystal will not in fact create a full fledged fortress in the Arctic, or anywhere else for that matter.)
Note that as with all SLA 3D printing, minor imperfections may be present in the final product.
